Say hello to...gluten-free Olive Garden.

Who knew the Olive Garden would someday have gluten-free options on its menu? It's known mainly for it's pasta, right? They now offer their Garden Fresh Salad without croutons, Caesar Salad without croutons, Pennine Rigate with Marinara (using gf penne), Steak Toscano, Herb-Grilled Salmon, and Mixed Grill Skewers. It seems as though the gf menu is only offered in the U.S as the Canadian website doesn't list this menu. I have contacted Olive Garden Canada to enquire about this and will keep you posted ;)

Say hello to...Au Bon Pain.

Au Bon Pain is a healthy fast-food restaurant chain found all over the world. It was recently selected by Health Magazine as one of America's healthiest restaurants. Fortunately there is one here in Seoul, which is one of the few restaurants I can eat at in South Korea. Since it is a bakery, and makes sandwiches and bread bowls, you must eat there with caution. The company is well aware of common allergens and lists these allergens on their online menu. I have never been sick from the Oriental Chicken Salad (with balsamic olive oil dressing) and never been disappointed from this restaurant.

Say hello to...Gluten-free Passport.

Traveling with celiacs can be a pain, and most people hesitate to venture out of their home, let alone out of the country. Gluten-free passport strives to make the gluten-free lifestyle known worldwide. Their goal is to educate businesses on special dietary needs as well as give individuals who are on gluten-free diets the opportunity to eat outside of their home. Their website provides current gf research trends, a list of restaurants with gf menus, gf cuisine passport books for countries around the world, as well as many useful traveling tips. It's worth checking out!
